UNIVERSITY INTAKES IN PHILIPPINES

  • MBBS: The academic calendar year begins from June & ends in March. Each academic year holds two semesters; June to October and November to March.
  • Para-Medical Programs: Three years program. Admission to para-medical courses is conducted in October/November each year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Language Requirement
  • As English is the secondary language, IELTS score card needs to be submitted to the university.
  • MBBS
  • 12 years of formal education/ 10+2 high school/ equivalent study in Science.
  • Minimum 50 per cent aggregate score in major subjects Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Submission of National Medical Entrance Test (NMAT) score.
  • Academic records including transcripts, character & migration certificates.
  • Evidence of financial stability (paying capacity).
  • IELTS score card (if required).
  • Must be NEET qualified.
  • 18 years of age at the time of admission.

 

  • Para-medical programs
  • Completion of 10+2 in science or 12 years of formal education/equivalent.
  •  50 per cent aggregate score in high school.
  • Academic records including transcripts, character & migration certificates.
  • Bank balance to prove the paying ability.
  • 18 years of age during the time of admission.
  • IELTS score card, if required by any Universities.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Passport to travel Philippines.
  • Application form for student visa.
  • Medical health certificate of applicants.
  • Police Clearance Certificate authenticated by the Embassy of Philippines.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Students wanting to study MBBS or Para Medical course should obtain visa from the Embassy of Philippines in Nepal. Getting a direct visa, takes time so student gets Tourist visa, which can later be converted to Student visa, after reaching the island.  Visa are given to those who have completed 18 years of age, beneath the given age slab, Special Study Permit (SSP) needs to be taken, which is valid for six-months.
